What is The Shark Club?
The St. James Shark Club is a volunteer service organization composed of parents, staff, community members, and businesses dedicated to providing financial support and resources to all St. James High School sports and athletes.
The Shark Club is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of 25 members and two Ex-Officio Members. Board Members are elected to two-year terms by the current Board, with terms beginning in February of each year.
How does The Shark Club raise money?
The Shark Club raises funds through several programs and events, including:
Membership Sales
Corporate Sponsorship Sales
Fins & Flip Flops
Every membership, sponsorship, and fundraising effort helps us continue supporting St. James High School athletics.
How does The Shark Club spend the money that is raised?
Funds raised by The Shark Club are put back into St. James High School athletics and used to support the needs of our athletes and teams.
Funding may help provide:
Equipment for sports teams
Uniforms for sports teams
Scholarships
Meals for athletes and coaches during playoff games
Physicals for athletes based on need
Production of the All Sports Program, with three issues produced each school year
Our goal is to make the support we receive from our community count where it matters most, our Sharks.
